No I have a half brother who is 9 and him and all his friends watch yokai watch. He explained it to me in great detail before I ever heard of it on here.

Yokai watch is NOT a Pokemon killer, stop this meme. If you actual;ly played it you'd realize it's child friendly SMT and hares no similarities with pokemon other then monster catching, which if thats your only basis, Then Card captro sakura, Beyblade, and Monster rancher are also pokemon ripoffs right?

That being said however, Yokai-watch is VERY popular with kids in japan, and Pokemon is definitely taking cues from this with the Z-move poses and the super move stuff. The anime however really is with the whole "Send ash back to school" deal. As it looks like they're trying to get a more slice of life style story that kids can relate to in the same way yokai watch does.

Hell, I won't even be surprised if they have something akin to the Gerapopo song.

You know what is your problem? You saw pretty great graphics and a lot of new stuff in Sun and Moon and you instantly think its a lot of content when in fact it never showed anything big content-wise or to be precise to have more than XY oor ORAS
