I thought I was done with pokemon after how dogshit gen 6 was but I feel hyped all over again. Gen 6 was a gen 4 redux that was mercy killed before they released its actually good games. Gen 7 will be what gen 6 should have been.

just curious why does everyone care about customization so much?
Never saw the appeal, it doesn't really add anything to the game.
Then again, I never imagine myself as the character so idk.

Gen 6 felt more like a test for the new 3D environments that Gamefreak was getting used to.

Gen 7 fells like a natural evolution with them getting comfy with 3D and putting it's old 2D roots behind.

Yeah, because it was poorly optimized shit and was part of the reason that Sims 3 ran like dog shit. EA demanded that the devs make Sims 4 able to run on toasters.

I don't either but I love making the character ny own. I love battling online and seeing that no two trainer really looks exactly alike. It makes the game feel more personal even if I am not projecting myself.

I don't self insert, and in fact I don't care what I wear in real life. But I'm videogames I'm basically a metrosexual and regardless of the game or the gender of my character, I'm going to play around with all customization options at some point. I like to change the look of the character periodically just to keep it fresh.
