Do you think there'll be any reason to use Pikachhu's Z-move over Raichu's? Like maybe it has an addictional effect or something? Or maybe it's just a new flashy toy because I guess Volt Tackle, Light Ball, cosplay forms, and retconned cry weren't enough

Thanks to Light Ball, I believe that Pikachu was used more frequently than Raichu for a few generations. That also seems to have changed in Gen VI, so they may be trying to rein players back in to using their mascot.

So... I imagine that it will probably be a more powerful move.

What if Z Crystals have properties beyond just allowing Z moves? As they are worse Mega Stones I don't see why Pikachunium wouldn't for example also boost its stats a little bit
