>>28706986I find it has less to do with how good the driver is and more to do with how much of a hardass the instructor giving the test is. In my hometown, the Trooper that graded you was a notorious bastard. He used to fail people for even one minor mistake. Kids who tried multiple times and failed would often go to the next town over and get passed in a single try because they were more lenient.
The thing with driving is that it has very little to do with the instruction or the initial test. Good drivers will steadily get better and more competent as they become comfortable behind the wheel. If you suck, you're ALWAYS gonna suck. It's just a matter of finding that instructor that will give in and pass you.
