About to start a run of Blue in order to prepare for SM. Do we know for sure that the genwun Pokemon will keep these amazing TM moves? I haven't seen anything official, so I'm worried it will be like gen2 when you couldn't send back mons from GSC who knew moves that weren't allowed in RBY.

Also, we all know fissure Machamp, but what else is a good combo that isn't discussed as much?

Nobody knows anything about how that process will work. I still have all sorts of currently illegal moves sitting in my red version's boxes since it's not like it takes any effort to ditto glitch catch anything you want and dupe TMs for them.

Pokemon can not be put into RBY, only taken out and put into Pokemon Bank.

Yes. It already does so. And it's not like it has IV's/Natures/EVs/Abilities to check. The only thing it needs to check is if the move list of that Pokemon is valid.

bro, you need to look up the item duplication Glitch for Pokemon Blue. I think you need to name your character something somewhat specific like "Albert" or something, and you can duplicate 126 TM's at a time but youll only hold x99. If you name your character Blue or one of the pre-chosen names it wont work i think. Infinite tm's/nuggets/masterballs etc are good for having the ability to make any kind of gen 1 competitive mon at all times and having infinity money . Pretty much youll have an entire game for breeding special gen 1 movesets without having to waste tm's. Do this and playthrough without using any tm'ss

Chansey gets Reflect in gen 1. Now it can switch into a Special Pokemon, set up Reflect when the opponent tries to switch in a Physical Pokemon, then swap Chansey out for something that will now take half damage from the Physical Pokemon.

Slowbro, Snorlax, and Dragonite get Reflect now, too.

You're 1% correct, 99% playground rumors, Newfag-kun. By encountering either Missingno or 'M ' using the Trainer-Fly or Cinnabar Island glitches, the item in slot #6 of your bag will be multiplied to 128. This also works on key items like the bike and fishing rods, so be careful. You don't want 128 of an item you can't get rid of, especially when PC item space is finite.
