What unused typing are you really hoping for in S/M /vp/? Personally I'm interested in seeing Grass/Fire, maybe based off of the hottest peppers in the world

I don't understand why gamefreak keeps giving us repeated types instead of using one of these.

Why is pallosand Ghost/Ground? We already have one of those. Make it Ghost/Rock just for the sake of variety.

Why not make Rockruff and Lycanrock Normal/Rock?

I just don't see why they leave so many typings unused and keep repeating old ones.

Hell, they could still just use legendary-only typings and get away with it too. I want more Fire/Steel, Dragon/Steel, Psychic/Ghost, Rock/Fighting, and Ice/Dragon types.

Normal/ghost would only be weak to dark, and be resistant to poison and bug while being immune to normal, fight, and ghost. Seems like a pretty legit typing to me.

Fucking stupid. I agree with your second one but Palossand doesn't fit rock at all. Rock Pokemon are usually fossils or have at least something to do with big solid rocks in a way with some exceptions. Sand is too grainy to fit Rock instead of Ground.

Besides, who cares, Palossand is completely different than Golurk since it's a special attacker with a completely different, unique ability
