Mawile is level 62 because I got fucking tired of not having a single Steel or Fairy move on her. Shit was ridiculous. The offer at 50 for the stockpile/spit-up set was what did me in. I think I didn't get the Iron Head or whatever until 56 and Play Rough until 61.
I caught Bibarel as a Bidoof in the starting areas on my way back through all the areas after getting Cut, Strength, and Surf. He's holding the Lucky Egg and is the only one to have done so. I got him up to the early twenties off of pokemon in the desert, but the rest was just occasionally switching him out manually in pokemon battles and doing a bit of grinding with him when there were some wild pokemon he could 1HKO with Surf. That's why he's so low compared to everyone else.
Everyone else is still following my original plan for the most part. I was going for keeping all my mons within' one level of each other, but I like Mawile and Clawitzer too much to keep that plan in one piece, I guess.
That extra EXP is combination of wild encounters and Battle Mansion stuff. I did a lot of that. All their EXP is boosted due to Amie too, though I don't know by how much. Only held items any of my Pokemon have had was the double money thing on Mawile and HM Slave got to keep the Lucky Egg permanently.
I did that battle with that guy in his house with all the weird rules and figured the new level range was going to start at 55 and started to level up to that. I guess that was a mistake too.
