Why would they name it "Mini"or if it wasn't going to evolve? The only way this thing would be Mini is if that's in comparison to an evolved form. It's not like it's particularly tiny as is.

I can't see Mimikyu evolving.

But the entire concept of Minior would be wasted, especially since they finally made a Zen Mode in the right way. They only way it could work is if pick related and even then it would mean retconning these pokemon out of existance and reworking everything about them in all these past gens.

Or it could evolve into these and always get its hidden ability, so it still becomes a core. But that's doesn't sound like game freak to me. I doubt it will evolve.

Nobody says it has to become a Raichu.

It could just as easily become a Pika-reaper, a waifu in a Pikachu onesie, or just ditch the costume entirely.
