Main reason why I think Sinnoh remakes can happen this gen without casualizing it too much in gen 8 because all the QoL improvements have been Alola exclusified or taken to an extreme. What I mean is, at the very least we know that RotomDex makes sense this gen and is likely there to help you know the trial locations and what each sidequest is, but god knows GF could very well go full handholding next gen, so getting Sinnoh remakes before the extremes take hold is for the better. Pokemon Ride and RotomDex would allow for no compromises to the original games, which are supposedly the tipping poiny and reason why Pokemon is so easy today.
