>Episode 1Just kinda existed to show how nice the animation is. It was nice to see locations outside of Kanto, but even then, each fight barely lasted a minute.
>Episode 2It was really nice to see Pokemon used outside of the context of a battle; the episode was short, but to the point. It didn't really feel rushed. Kinda disappointingly short, again, but it was alright.
>Episode 3Horrible writing, for the most part. It was all really cliche and predictable. The "battles" were laughably short, they barely got to show one move before rushing to the next Elite 4 member. Plus, it didn't have anything interesting or new in general; even Episode one had the non-Kanto locations, Episode two showed us pokemon used outside of pokemon battles, but this one's just "blue fights the elite 4 and wins cuz hes really good".
I mean, it's not like I think the entire thing has no hope, but I'm not really looking forward to anything. It's all just really bland. Even if they make a really great episode, it's only five minutes. They'd be better off making one long episode rather than however many tiny ones they're doing. Or, if you're gonna do shorts like these, have them cover stuff we've NEVER seen before, not boring genwun stuff.
