Why is the Pokemon English Dub So Bad Now, Yet Never Criticized (TPCi)?

No.28750023 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
>Completely monotone, lifeless voice acting with miscast voice actors in roles that don't fit their talents (many characters sounding too old, some nasally, some whiny, others sounding too young, constipated, etc.)
>Forced original English talent out telling them they weren't needed anymore, telling them we've found cheaper replacements, proceeding to blacklist original dub Ash/May & Brock/James permanently thereafter. Original dub Jessie/Misty told to fuck off forever after bit cameo Maylene role in DP dub for only 3 episodes, too.
>Horrendous script writing/dialogue consisting of repetitive "I'm so psyched" dialogue with rhymes and alliterations along with "Put your foot on the gas" and other slang added to the characters' statements
>Replacing 85-90% of the Japanese OST with UFO, elevator, and accordion tunes in both the Anime and Movies since S17/M17 began
>Still paint editing out Japanese kanji despite show being whitewashed for them (e.g. Korrina battle pose, & most likely the upcoming TF Arc Gym Leader logos)
>29 second intros with the latest having only 4 lines of dialogue repeated in it
>Still censoring food, calling apples "berries" and peas & carrots being referred to as the collective term "veggies" for no apparent reason at all
>Calling Voltorb an "Electrode" in "Hoopa's Surprise Ring Adventures 3"
>Calling Houndour a "Houndoom" in the first XYZ dub episode
>Still doing pun titles like "A Trip Down Memory Train" or making shitty references to songs from the 60s like "The Green Green Grass Types of Home" that no one would get besides old guys like the current script writer

I have to wonder how a dub as bad as TPCi's doesn't get much criticism solely because it's not 4Kids' dub, when 4Kids' dub was actually better than TPCi's has been at this point.
