>>28756431Science is not based on something unscientific, not sure where you are getting this from.... unless you are somehow interpreting the fact that us, who came up with science, do not understand where we as living beings came from and therefore science is unscientific, which would be a pretty bad misinterpretatation and missing the point pretty damn hard.
The short story is: Science exists as a convenient way for us to determine whether we think something is true or not. Exagtly what science entails has different between different times in history -- in the past people might have thought that there was scientific evidence that a god exists because that's what their "science" looked like. Our current, modern view of "science" has been formulated in such a way that if something can't be disproven, it's not scientific, and therefore the belief in the existence of a god is not scientific.
This doesn't mean that a god doesn't exist from a universal, objective viewpoint (one that we as a species will never attain), but from the viewpoint that we have agreed is "science", it doesn't.
So I'd suggest you'd stop pretending your belief in a god has some sort of scientific basic when it by the very definition of the word science doesn't.
