The thing about Clarence is that it's generally a shit show. The characters are completely unlikable and pretty much portray the worst aspects of children with no positive traits at all.
The main character is an absolute shit who is ignorant of the things he does and has no real remorse for the problems he causes at all. He just does things because 'fun and wacky'.
Jeff is a shit who has so many issues that it's a wonder he still manages to function. He's constantly screaming or is neurotic beyond belief.
Sumo is probably one of the few characters who isn't as bad.
Everybody else is varying degrees of horrible, and the character designs have no general cohesion at all and are questionable in their own world setting.
I can give Clarence props for being a children's cartoon that is mainly just a slice of life urban setting in a sea of cartoons that are full of sci-fi, fantasy, and other stuff, but goddamn is it shit.
