And even I say that not having restore points makes for a rough experience, what I'm really saying is that Nintendo doesn't want to put out games as part of the Virtual Console service that don't have the same feature set as literally every other Virtual Console games. Calling them Virtual Console games wouldn't even make sense since there's no emulation actually happening. Both GBA and DS games are out in the Wii U's VC, but not the 3DS, despite the fact that both consoles' libraries can be played natively. The only time they've done anything like that was when they added Wii games to the eShop, and in that case they refused to classify them as VC games. Nintendo cares about this stuff.
