So since the Normal Totem is Gumshoos in Sun and Raticate in Moon and the can call their partner Pokemon to help (Yungoos and i assume Rattata) then what will Normal trial captain use? Afterall these are the most basic Pokemon there are.

Does that mean that Trial Captains will be pushovers to make the Totems stand out a bit?

Or maybe we wont battle Captain at all like some people think and their poses we saw in Japanese trailer are just them teaching us Z moves?
