>>28775759Forgive me if I end up spouting bullshit, it's relatively late for me, first off. Anyway, Pratchett had a few rather applicable quote on that one that could be applicable, namely "but something that is between a human and a wolf has a bit of dog in them". Honestly, I can see his point. In midday form, lycanroc made their trainer their pack for sure, becoming, in that sense, a wolf with a bit of dog in them as man made dogs, and it is supposed to be the dog like loyalty that helps sun doggo happen, isn't it? Midnight, though, seems to approach that from the werewolf aspect, where that bit of human makes them all the more terrible and bloodthirsty, what man imagines the wolf to be rather than some woodland critter that just gets hungry and eats what it catches. In this way, too, they have a bit of dog in them-the attack dog's ferocity, or the hunting hound's potential strength. I mean, hell, imagine a bear hound version of night doggo, or ones used as guard dogs. I guess what I am trying to say is ultimately both have a bit of human in them, and it is reflected in their form-one shows it as a dog, the other a werewolf.
