Ekans and Arbok in Alola have both become more thin and nimble due to their new forested hunting grounds. Ekans has developed a green pigment and has begun to climb trees. They wait in camouflage for unsuspecting prey to fly or climb by. Arbok, however, is too large to climb trees, so to continue hunting agile prey in the canopy, it has developed a hyper-accurately spit its venom, delivering a stunning neurotoxin to its prey.
