Leaks are talking about a potential common baby of Solgaleo and Lunala.
If it were to exist, what would it be like, what would its stats, types, etc... be ?

What's the point of a pre-evolution for a legendary exactly? It will either only evolve into one or the other, like Lycanroc, to maintain exclusivity, or you'll be able to get both in each version. Can the breed? Are there egg moves? Is it like Phione? It just feels like a dumb fan theory.

Oh, I thought OP meant the two of them could breed with eachother to make a new baby legendary (but probably couldn't breed with anyone else).

It was part of a leak that said Oak was in Alola studying Alolan forms and Lillie's mom was studying hyperdimensional Pokemon.

Never specified which Oak is was. The man who studies Alolan forms is still Oak, just not the one from Kanto.
