I mean look at trigger shorts like Hacka Doll or Galko-chan, even if they are saving a lot of animation they are better directed, better key frame management, better delivery on punchline or action frames, more consistent color pallettes, also transitions, generations handles the camera transitions almost as bad as ghost menace, characters come in and out of the camera inconsistently and even for a short the transitions between the scenes is too abrupt.
Generations is OK by 3-8 minutes short format, and it has dynamic animation, sadly it's direction it's iffy at best.
