No. Fuck this damn idea. It was fun seeing something like FRLG. HGSS was pretty good too. ORAS though it felt like it was probably a cashgrab and stretching the whole remaking idea, it was still a nice treat to play. DP remakes aren't something I'm really looking forward being made but it's probably still gonna happen I guess. Re-remakes though? We don't need remakes of remakes and restarting the whole cycle of games being remade. Just let the boat sail and feel glad it even got remade in the first place. If you're really that desperate to play an older generation of Pokemon again, then go back to that game. The moment this kind of shit gets pulled is the moment people will grow even more desperately annoying about revamping old shit via endless loop instead of working on something new.

If revisiting older generation really has to be a thing. It be better if done like what they did in Gold/Silver. Add the older region as post game instead.

DP remakes will be made probably for the NX, specially if it is confirmed that you can't play regular DS games with it.

See I wanna agree with this. The only things that didn't feel like cash grabs were FR/LG.
HG/SS and OR/AS are just a mess of cut content, shitty nostalgia grabbing, and a refusal to fix the actual flaws the game had.

Gen 1: Kanto
Gen 2: You can go back to kanto!
Gen 3: Kanto remakes!
Gen 4: You can go back to kanto in these remakes!
Gen 5: Only one region's pokemon, and a lot of lines parallel Kanto lines. Just like the good ol' days in kanto!
Gen 6: kanto pokemon get most of the megas, two of them get two megas, several get small stat boosts, and charizard gets an anime.
Gen 7: Alola forms are kanto only, you can transfer pokemon from VC kanto games, kanto pokemon get special Z moves.

There's no way that GF will pass up an opportunity to remake their glorious golden god of a region now that the series is firmly rooted in 3D.

Because you never know when Mr. Haha I don't know decides to delay the gen a whole year for some reason. Gen 4 was supposed to happen in 2005 but got pushed to 2006 instead.

Very happy. Though I'd like a sequel to Kanto more, along the lines of bw2. Have new Kantoan Pokémon, a 300 dex, the routes are slightly different, etc.. Would be baller. Could be some of the best games in the franchise to be honest, especially if they let Unno do it or something like that.
