I don't get Battle Royal's rules. Is the battle over when a Pokemon faints, or is it last man standing wins?

It's over when one guy loses all their pokemon.

I guess they did it so no one would have to boringly wait while everyone else finishes?

I'm pretty sure it's meant to stop people from ganging up on one person but it also means there will be plenty of Electrode meme teams in public matches

It's determined by who has the most points by the time one person loses all their Pokemon. Points are gained by KOs.

Well, following that anon's criterion, the one who lost all their Pokémon should be last place. In that case, the last place can also be the one who netted most kills. I don't think it goes that way.

Maybe certian scenarios when player A needs more kills to top player B so sh tries to take out players c or d who have more alive than player b or something idk

I think it could be extremely strategic and complicated. Kinda like Poket where you have to guess what the other guys do to act accordingly. For example it would be strategically smart to send your weakest mon in first or not attack in the first turn at all, to not go in the lead and have everyone attack you.
I think potentially it could be the most interesting fighting mode.
Kinda like the 5 pirate puzzle

I wonder how entry hazards work in battle royale though
Priority will also be kill with Bruxish
And anyone who pulls out a Mega makes sure that everyone gangs up on him.

It really could be an interesting mode.
