It's pretty fucking annoying, especially when studios espoused to be the best of the best like Kyoani practice sameface religiously. But that's an inevitability, drawing unique faces for every character is hard and time-consuming. I care about navels more because they're my fetish, and because it would be much less work. But they're also completely overlooked most of the time, so fuck me I guess.
