How do you feel about Sun/Moon being the most plot heavy Pokemon games yet?

Till September people thought it was going to be one of the lighter Pokemon games, with Team Skull being goofy villains, the general relaxing Hawaiian setting, and innocent looking protagonist.

But when you start put pieces together, we're probably going to experience the darkest Pokemon games in the series so far. Do you like this direction?
