But Mega Kanga OHKO's with Outrage. No need for Fake Out. So unless Mega Fug can OHKO it loses with these spreads.
It can. With Life Orb Outrage. Thing is, Kanga will never outspeed so it will invest in Defense. With 4hp252def, it tanks the hit.
So you put a Choice Band on Mega Fug against 4HP/252Def Mega Kanga. It goes 92,7%/109%, its almost a coin toss.
But you invest 252hp252def in Mega Kanga and you can tank the Choice Band Outrage from Mega Fug. And win with minimum rolls from Fake Out+Outrage.
Ofc Mega Fug can go Choice Specs Focus Blast (or even Draco Meteor). So it's hard to speculate. But I give Mega Kanga the edge, since if you turn it into a 50/50 is-it-banded-or-with-specs, if it is running choice specs, it has to use 90% or 70% accuracy moves (Draco/FocusMiss).
A 120hp/252def/136sp def careful mega kanga has ~94%chance of tanking both Choice band Outrage AND choice specs Draco Meteor, forcing mega fug to use Specs Focus Miss.
You could argue Mega Fug tanks Fake Out/Outrage with 120 defense EV's against this Kanga, but he will be locked to a move and Kanga has Sucker Punch priority...
It's a complex problem folks. These too truly are the top of the crop.
