You are now aware the there are no "Grass" type pokemon who actually take their inspiration from actual grasses (Meaning grains, corn, or bamboo). The closest is Oddish, who is closer to a root vegetable and evolves into a Rafflesia.

Why did Gamefreak call it "Grass" type in Japanese and English instead of "Plant" type, like in many other languages? Why aren't more grass type pokemon based on actual grasses?

These are the questions that keep me up at night.
