I am pretty sure Hackmon is Himekawa's partner and she is one of the original 5 that sealed Apocalymon. The kids just got in Alphamon's way before and it was a misunderstanding.

Really? Hackmon/Jesmon looked like they were supposed to be playing a higher good role. I would have suspected Jesmon was fighting Alphamon due to the usual disagreement among the royal knights as to what to do about whatever mess is happening.
