There is the temptation to try my best to ignore all pokemon past gen 2 and pretend the series there.

This would help me deal with the fact that pokemon have became stupid ugly digimon...

However if I was to do this I could never use the few new (new pokemon excluded ng gen 2. They are still kinda cool) pokemon that actually look decent such as haxorus and sceptile.

I wouldnt have to face this dilema if pokemon werent so ugly now.
