I unironically love them, the genies have great designs.
The base forms have a strong oni/djin inspiration and then we get into the slight differences, their tails give small bits of what they are based off I Japanese folklore, the bag of winds, the drums of thunder and the fertility symbol. They are really great pokemon in competitive to boot.
Tornadus is OK offensive flying is great but Thundurus got the big guns in his base form on the form of prankster twave and electric bring a good pivot typing, Landorus is decent but he only shines with his HA.
Then came the Therian formes, Godlike speed tier, offensive stab and Regenerator for Tornadus, agility a pivot ability and great offenses came for thundurus and finally a good speed tier, intimidate, one of the strongest earthquake in the franchise and a solid pivot typing with s troll base speed made Landorus T one of the most versatile pivots in the game history.
These 3 guys are amazing in concept and execution, bonus point for managing to be Japanese folk based when incarnated and Mesoamerican when using the Therian form.
