>>28864176Elite 4 in Pokemon Yellow. I found it to be hell.
About 9-10 years ago, I found an old copy of Pokemon Yellow lying around. I had never played a GB game before, so I tried it. It was my first Pokemon game. Over the course of the game, I caught all the Pokemon I saw, which lead to all sorts of problems.
I switched my team too much, since I didn't think much of the levels and stuff. Most of my team knew shit moves. For example, my Charizard knew Dig, because I thought it was cool how your Pokemon dodged the attack the turn you Dig. Most of my team knew Cut. I thought it Cut the opponent in half, thought that was cool. Didn't knew Move Deleter existed.
When I got to the Indigo Plateau, the highest leveled Pokemon on my team were Pikachu and Charizard, both a little over 50. I tried taking on the League, lost to Bruno. After losing a few more times, I switched some Pokemon from my team to make room for the Legendary Birds, since they were all Level 50. I fought the League again a few times, and made it to managed to beat Lance. Then came the big surprise...
Blue was the Champion. His Eevee had evolved into a Jolteon, and I had 4 Flying-types in my team, and one Water-type, if I recall correctly. I somehow beat most of his Pokemon, but his Jolteon really screwed my team up.
I trained a bit, like 3-4 levels. I challenged the League again a few times, and made it to Blue. The battle went mostly the same, except my Zapdos managed to get a hit on Jolteon this time. It was my Pikachu and Charizard against his Jolteon. I sent in Charizard first, in hopes I could at least get one hit. I used Dig, but the Jolteon was faster, and to my surprise, Charizard took the hit. The Dig managed to K.O. the Jolteon.
This whole experience made me hate Pikachu, since it didn't help much but was the highest leveled Pokemon on my team, and made Charizard my favorite Pokemon. I've outgrown my hate for Pikachu now, but I still hate Yellow Pikachu.
