She only had a few cheap wins. The rest of her battles play out the same way any other major battle of the show does. You could literally nitpick any of Ash's battles the same way, even from the later seasons.

Not him, but these kinda models can get up to like 150 USD. That said I remember hearing these are going to be on the cheaper end, like 60-80 after conversion.

No idea, the pricing is mostly dependent on whoever making the model + the quality of the mold and design. Painting is usually important too but I don't think that effects the price that often compared to other things.

The two models here both seem very clean, but also not hugely intricate (the anime one at least) which might explain the price point.

I wonder why they chose Skitty instead of Beautifly.

Beautifly was basically her second main pokemon besides her starter, and she used Beautifly much more than Torchic in early Hoenn

Yeah, May is usually always associated with Torchic in all incarnations. Seems strange the ORAS one is only with Mudkip, should have been both that and Torchic like in that ORAS short.
