Play bw1 before bw2, though.

Fair warning, Platinum, BW and BW2 are all really slow for various reasons. Plat because the animations and walk speed etc., bw/bw2 the beginning two towns or so are really slow. Should be fine your first time through on either, though.

What this anon said. However if you know how to enjoy a game speed shouldn't be a problem. Platinum is one of my favorite games in all of the series so if I can play it without ending it too fast, it's better
