Until they give us information about how long the game is, how many trial captains there are, and other actual gameplay details we won't be sure it's better than XY/ORAS. Right now it just seems like a lot of neat features, but we havent seen any real substance yet.

it's literally impossible for it to be as bad as ORAS. Having a new region and pokemon makes it better by default, then add in how the world doesn't look like a minecraft piece of shit and there's customization better than XY (when ORAS didn't have customization period) and it's a given

Neat features are a massive part of Pokémon games you tool

people remember the dressed up Battle Tower in BW2, Contests and the Battle Frontier in RSE, and the Pokéathlon in HGSS more than the main story
