Dragon/Fire with Shell Smash sounds good on paper, but in reality:
- He's probably slow as molasses, nowhere near Cloyster's speed tier, won't outspeed anything relevant at +2
- His strongest reliable STAB is 85-90 BP, compared to Cloyster's multi-hit 125 BP
- His type is weaker offensively than Cloyster's
- He won't have priority
- Despite Cloyster having all these advantages, he's still only UU

It will prolly be slow as shit but have really high defenses, that seems like the most obvious conclusion. But that still sucks because rocks. But it's still not too bad, if it does get 100+ on both hp and defenses and is neutral to fairy. also if it gets draco meteor, and overheat hell I'll use it

Do you think we can still get a new modern sea turtle this gen. I like turtonator for what it is, but I'd also like a green sea turtle because Hawaii and all.
Fun fact about the Hawaiian ones is that unlike other green sea turtles, they actually come out of the water regularly to sun themselves instead of females only coming out to lay eggs. I guess it was to deal with higher tiger shark numbers in the past/ no land predators.

How is Turtonator so tall? He's 1 foot 4 inches taller than Blastoise, the same height as Tyranitar and Mewtwo.

He didn't look super tall in the trailer. I thought he'd be about 4 feet.

Here's another next to Palossand, who is 4'03" while Turtonator is 6'07"

It seems more realistic going by this, but at the same time it doesn't look much taller than the trailer.
