The models are fine, but I do hate the Arial font. It makes me think of a 2D game that got sloppily ported to PC, or an RPG Maker game that uses vanilla assets.

The models are really well done, and the fact that they show up in battle is amazing. The little intro animation looks almost 2D at the original resolution too
I welcome this change, as long as we still get official art of all the characters and trainer classes

Outside Gen 6 where the art was needed to be the trainer intro, its always just been sprites/models.

A select few classes may get art, like how the Unova Ace Trainers or Johto Kimono Girls have them, but I'm not expecting it.

Important NPCs are a given. Outside Kalos, most of the characters have art

Not that anon, but there's a difference between the quality of the models and the quality of the animation. The animation looks pretty average quality, which isn't bad, and yeah, some of the Pokemon models look off, but the new ones don't seem to be that way

I have a friend that's uncomfortable with the 3d models because he thinks that sprites look better in general. He also thinks the same for the new Phoenix wright games, but he hasn't played them yet. I'm in between on it but I wonder what you guys think.
