>>28887986This team is mine. Here's my thought process on how I built it.
My Reuniclus is essentially the heart of my team, which is a Trick Room team. While Reuniclus is bulky and hits like a truck, it needs support to pull off a Trick Room without getting U-turned to death. So usually, I'd start off with it as a bait mon in front, although I switch it up with Mawile/Ampharos for the obvious Mega-mon.
On a similar note, obvious Trick Room teams almost never start the Trick Room turn 1, unlike weather teams that always has their weather ability in front on Turn 1. It's pretty handy to get a Cloud Nine mon at the start to counteract this. Anyways, much of the metagame revolves around weather, rooms, and terrains, since rotating doesn't take up a turn. Obvious Trick Room setters are Reuniclus, Bronzong, Dusknoir, Chandelure, and Cofagrigus. I'd cripple them early on.
Back to my team. Lickilicky is always on my team. Wish and Heal Bell is powerful, and his bulk is pretty great as a tank. Florges and Vaporeon fills that role well as well. I really suggest having a bulky wish passer and a way to heal statuses.
Tanks are great to eat up anything that can destroy your main sweeper. Shedinja is amazing as a wall. Again, because rotating doesn't take up a turn, playing mindgames with Shedinja and defensive mons in general as well as type immunities is crucial to rotation battles.
Which brings me to one of the most important aspects of rotation: stat changes don't go away. Reason why I have Octillery with Haze. Minimize Blisseys and Clefables run rampant on Battle Spot, so stat clearing moves are super useful. I wouldn't say they're essential, but due to the way rotation works it's never a bad idea.
That's it for now.
