Kanto's the worst, it doesn't have enough interesting locales. Understandable, because it was the first
Johto is better, Azalea, Goldenrod, Ecruteak, etc. All of them feel different
Hoenn has a ton of good areas too, Fortree, Soothopolis, Pacifidlog. I would put it on par with Johto, but nostalgia wins this time
Sinnoh, the layout is interesting, and we have pretty distinct locales again, like Canalave, but I'll put this lower than the previous two, just because I like them more
Unova (BW2) is probably my favorite, but not by much. Here, every city feels different, and the amount of optional or extra areas on BW2 is really nice
