It felt a tiny bit easy. Got to Victory Road and was on par with the E4, so I had to avoid the VR trainers to not overlevel. Also, all the common items should be deleted from Hidden Grottos. Holy fuck I dont want to go in there and see a fucking Super Potion

I dont actually think the level curve or mons you can get is a problem. My only real issue is a lack of reliable rematch place. The calls are ok once you have a guide, but I'd have liked if say, the Fast Ship battles reset every day.

Yes. Wish I could fill up the Trainer House though. Got a Shedinja from the Bug Catching Contest. Pretty great. Liked HGSS Kanto. Finally looks urban.

What do you like about BW2?

The new variety in the pokedex which adds a lot of variety, how the game does not give a shit that it adds in all of these pokemon, the challenge mode is actually really good, PWT is awesome, and so are the pokestar studios.

What do you dislike about BW2?

The starters really kind of blow. The story is fine, I like it, but I wish the Purrloin was actually Hugh's and not his sister's.

Yes.

Yes, cleared PWT, all films, and the Black Tower a few years back.

Battling Alder's grandkid and getting the shiny Dratini.

What do you like about HGSS?

The pokemon following you, and the picture guy. The fact that the game is updated is great, physical special split makes Feraligator really good.

What do you dislike about HGSS?

How it was made in gen 4. Gen 4 was way too slow. The Pokemon variety in GSC was pretty meh already and they didn't change it. I wish they put hondour in Johto etc. Also wish they fixed the level scaling since it gets crazy. The second elite 4 run and Red are crazy high compared to the Gym leaders and there aren't any good areas to grind.

Never really bothered with the Frontier, since I did it in Platinum.

HGSS needs to not be on gen 4. Fix the level curve

Fastest games of Gen IV, like the region a lot, Gym Leader rematches at the Saffron Dojo, following pokemon, Auto Run toggle, Pokeathalon, Portable Berry Pots, Exclusive Apricorn Pokeballs, new customizable Safari Zone, more emphasis on Lugia/Ho-Oh with the dancers, tag team match with Silver at Dragon's Den, Kanto updated to Gen IV style, first remakes with Phys/Spec split, Rocket Execs are unique characters now, one extra "registered" item on touch screen

Rocket Grunts having Level 17 pokemon while I have 6 badges, trainer rematches are pretty limited; would have preferred the Vs Seeker

Yes, I played both. RBY I liked as a kid, but as I grew older I saw them as a bug ridden mess, and largely only play them ironically now
for FRLG, I still enjoy playing them from time to time but the evolution limit is always killer

for BW2: unlockChallenge Mode from the start, improve the story a bit, making the side of Plasma that wants redemption more important. also make it so the Ice and Mossy rocks are elsewhere, so you can actually get Leafeon and Glaceon in the main game.

for HGSS: Force the ordering of Chuck -> Jasmine -> Morty, and add more trainers between each gym, scaling up the Elite Four to a better level. also force an order in Kanto so the gyms gradually progress up there as well. Also make it so more Johto pokemon are actually in Johto. Also increase wild levels so you aren't catching a level 19 for your level 30 party

SS - More Johto mons for Gym Leaders, keep Johto mons in Johto, Vs Seeker instead of calls, higher level mons in the Rocket Base
B2/W2 - One-up the Red fight in GSC by letting us transfer our Game Clear team via Memory Link and let us truly battle our past selves with the same team we used in B/W but at higher levels and afterwards the B/W protag can show up in the PWT or be rematched normally out in the region, maybe near Nuvema Town.

B2W2 is a lot faster and smoother overall
HG/SS has the double regions I always enjoy replaying

Like: Challenge Mode

Dislike: The Key system required to play challenge mode from the start. It's nothing short of retarded since all they needed was a "What difficulty would you like to play on?" screen before a New Game started.
