I understand complaining the Gen 2~5 EXP Share isn't there too, at least, but the people who loathe
I hope SM improves it. Like instead of all on or all off being able to select which party members get EXP shared to them or not, and even being able to select if Pokemon get EXP at all or not, and being able to turn off the scaling during post-game so getting to Level 100 isn't a royal pain. Including various multipliers in it would be great too. It's nice to have options and hopefully having that many will drill into people's heads it's meant to be used selectively to compliment your play style.
>>28912109The easiest way to beat any Pokemon game before Gen V was to solo everything with your starter so it soaks up all the EXP to the point the opponent's level doesn't even matter anymore, and then fill the other five slots with HM Slaves and Revive jockeys until you get the box legend from Gen 2 onwards at which point they get to guest star.
Gen 5 the EXP scaling makes it not as optimal as using a balanced team though the level scaling of opponents in BW1 was questionable near the end, and Gen 6 it's most optimal to leave EXP Share on at all times.
