It's ok if he's not real. The internet was practically united in it's hatred of Popplio at one point. Then Ballio appeared and suddenly Popplio's evolution is the one people cared most about. Popmaid isn't the strongman we wanted, but she's at least decent. And with Ballio having warmed people to Popplio, maybe more people are willing to give her a chance. Fakemon though he is, Ballio single-handedly repaired Popplio's image. And that's damn impressive.
