Probably means the SM demo will actually have substance, the ORAS one just had one city and a few tiny islands

Don't get your hopes up for datamining, they aren't going to make the same mistake for a new gen

You honestly believe they're going to let the whole dex and the rest of the data leak a month before release? get real. They were lazy with hiding ORAS because it's a remake meaning it had barely anything important to leak in the first place

Hopefully will get the base stat and all z moves, new moves, and new ability.
Maybe also new TM list and new berries/held items.
This won't spoil shit tb'h, 90% of people find these things out from wiki and such anyway.

But what kinds of things did it leak?

When it comes to a new generation, Nintendo and friends are very anal about what gets leaked, eg. the fiasco during BW where they adamantly went after dex leaks, and that was far less than a month before release.

It wasnt a mistake. They make the demo using a recent build, and them compile it, obfuscating stuff and removing heavy data for size purposes. It's why we'll only get text leaks, like pokemom names in the dex. They don't expect people to hack the game, they're not at fault for Nintendo's shitty security.

Is it possible to take out the incriminating information?

I mean, obviously they won't code the demo from scratch, but can't they just delete the text files, or rewrite the pointers so you don't need all of the data?
