Is it really going to get a stat boost? Do we know this for a fact, cuz I really hope so.

It's going to be a nice sidegrade. Protean Greninja is sheer power from the start, this nigga need to build up power, BUT -

>Mega stats, at least 150 speed
>probably high attacking stats on both sides

This alone will make it very very very viable option.

HP: 72
Attack: 140 (+45) (it's far more physical based because water shuriken)
Defense: 67
Sp. Atk: 130 (+27)
Sp. Def: 71
Speed: 150 (+28)

With life orb it will hit fucking hard as fuck. and we still don't know if Battle Bond do something else beside changing forms.

anyway, going to use the shit out of it and putting XYZ everytime i'm using it.

i'm so happy.

depends on what its stat boosts are.
If they don't waste points on its defenses and instead raise its ATK, SPATK, and SPD, it could very well be used over Protean, as a +1 priority, Sub breaking, Sturdy breaking move on a primary stat is very nice.

You also need a mega-stone to mega-evo, but Ash-Greninja found a way around that. If Ash-Greninja does not need a z-stone to do a z-move, on top of his supposed increase stat, he is going to be rather broken.

That's kinda fair and all and would be odd to implement it as a permanent forme, though it sucks to have an ability which its only effect is to transform you and nothing else. It has to KO a 'mon tho to even transform, still cool to see Ash-Greninja anyways.

Honestly, there's simply no other Z-Move that would be more fitting.

I actually thought that giant Water Shuriken was cool, so having its Z-Move be that (it'd summon a bunch of Double Team clones then form the giant Water Shuriken) would actually make me give a damn about this thing.
