I've been going with the grass starter since gen 3 (went fire in gen 1 and 2). I even went Chespin last gen out of principle even though I like the Greninja line better. I thought I was going to go grass again this gen but when Rowlett was revealed I just couldn't. It just doesn't do anything for me. I've been going back and forth between Litten and Popplio. Most likely, I'll go with Litten because I enjoy its design better (especially Torracat). The thing is, if I use Litten, I won't want to use Turtonator or Salandit because I really only want to use one fire type on my in game team. I also don't really like any of the water types revealed so far besides Popplio. Any insight anons?
