2. its forelegs look more like hands now, and its hind legs look less developed.
3. its got the same emblem on its back just like the leak.
4. the bell on its neck lights up just like the belt design on the leak.

He makes perfect sense. His color scheme works well with Rowlet, and doesn't clash too much with Dartrix. The only color that's really off is the brown, but that's not crazier than Charmeleon was. We also see orange tipped blade like objects in it's wing, just like the arrows that the leak has. And the hair, while some call it edgy, is actually more of a dignified thing. If you look at owl3, he has a tuft of feathers on his chest that sort of mimics that piece of cloth that some rich people stuff into their suits.

Seeing Dartrix from behind shows that the brown is very similar to the hood from the leak, just the wrong color. And the white legs are very similar to owl3. You can also see the leaves at the bottom of the back, which are like a coat tail, and each stage adds one.

and none of that changes the fact that a preliminary idea can be altered drastically. Also since you're an expert, explain where the seeds under Dart's wings go when it evolves? Everyone seems to gloss right over that. Also explain how 'hair' = 'cowl'

Frankly i'll believe it when I see it because Rowlet 2 and Rowlet 3 look nothing alike

Read the description for Dartrix. He "hides his face" he has darts, the orange feather exactly like the leak, he has spots on his wings just like the leak. There is a big design choice revolving around his eyes, hence the goggles. I'll admit the green hood is a little step away from the brown tuft dartrix has going on, but that could be the only real change, if at all.

This argument has already been beated to death months ago. It is the general consensus that the leaked art is not concept art for the games, but reference art for the anime. In that case, it would be 100% finalized designs, and any changes made would be in the most minute ways possible, like a slight color variation. And I don't mean making owl3's wings white, I mean making his hood .5 shades lighter of a green.

Of course, that's just a guess based off of the poses the characters are in and the inclusion of Ash/Mallow, so it is still possible that they have changed, sure. But that's a real stretch to assume that over the much more plausible finalized design concept.

You said the artist added things to the designs that now line up with things that are on the middle evos. That means he would have to predict them, and get lucky enough to be correct in his predictions. So yes, you did say the artist accurately predicted things.

The tailfeathers are fact. Rowlet has 1, Dartrix has 2. And his design has 3, which fits with this.

The spots on the wings are fact. Rowlet had NONE and now suddenly Dartrix has them. And the leaked design has them too, and with the EXACT SAME COLOR COMBINATION AND SHAPE. That would be some next level kinds of luck to guess that right, even by itself.

And yes, Dartrix is growing a hood. The first anon you responded to was wrong when he claimed it was the hair, it's the brown that surrounds his head. Looking at it from behind further supports the idea that it is a hood, or at least very hood-like.

Like I said, I agree that there is a chance for there to be changes, but those odds are a lot smaller than the odds that they are the same.

that's not what I said. Any artist can speculate. As for 'lining up with the final evos', those things are present and can be added to from the first stages and STILL look nothing like the leaks

And no matter how many times you imply it, leaves on the head dont naturally flow into a cowl

The leak is real anyway, there's not much point in going "x doesn't look like y" because you can do that with almost every starter line.

And you keep using other phrases to say predict. Speculate is the exact same thing in this context. In your fantasy world where the final leaks are just fanart, the artist would have to have looked at the stage 1 pokemon, and then speculated (i.e. predicted) how the design would have changed in the final evo, then drawn it. The several things I listed that are present in the leaked art that were entirely lacking from the first stage, and are only especially telling now that we have the second stages, would all have to have been the luckiest guesses in all of history. A person lucky enough to guess all of those things would have discovered he was blessed by the gods of luck and fucked off to win 8 lottos a long time ago, and wouldn't be wasting his time making fakemons.

Robin Hood was a noble before he turned to thievery.

The evolution will be Dartrix getting over its snoobbish ways and becoming a true hero (though Robinhoot still shows the same confidence issues as Dartrix, judging by the concept art).

And it fits with the changing personality of coolheaded Litten, emotional management Torracat, and angry violent Luchacat.
