When did the ORAS remakes come out? Pretty sure GF would have got a day-one dev box and what better way to test it out than to use D/P as a guinea-pig?
Only drawback I can see with that is GF may want the main team to release the first NX game, in which case, I'll still buy the NX and BotW on release.
