>>28933973As stated before, people at GF seem to have designed aegislash with a physical set approach, they completely forgot that stance change switches 15 defenses and atk stats when it procs and didn't realize that even without set up moves a superior base 120 shadow ball and flash cannon where better than SD shadow sneak/claw or iron head/sacred sword from the get go.
Aegislash is mostly feared for air Ballon mixed, sub toxic special atk, and lo mixed attacker with pursuit as a choice in most formats that allow him.
Honestly the staff at GF had no idea that people would rather attack from a less punishable spatk spectrum with higher BP moves from a pokemon with mirror offenses, they have been the laughing stock of VGC players and Smogon after that statement.
