What is EVOLUTION, this shouldn't even be an argument since Samurott exists. They literally do the same thing in a different standing position.
Popplio Line
Brionne's ears turn into Poppmaid's hair accessories and Brionne's 3 frills spread out across the body. Brionne is also beggining to grow eyelashes, they have similar tails, and the white on her body is becoming more apparent (especially on the arms). Combusken to Blaziken is a more drastic change than this.
Not to mention Brionne is a Pop Idol Pokemon and Poppmaid is a siren/mermaid which are known for their singing.
