I'm somewhat familiar with Pokemon, though the last one I played was Yellow.. I think. Back when there was only a couple hundred of them.
How many are there now?
Is the cartoon/anime still going? I remember I used to watch that shit pretty religiously back in high school.

Also, if I wanted to ever get back into the game, where would I start? I've got a 3ds XL, but not much stuff for it.
