I stopped playing competitive when I realized I wasn't having any fun at all. My favorites are deemed shitmons, using them requires huge amounts of effort and planning to use effectively, and one victory over some bad player just doesn't negate the losses to the same teams over and over.

Just because you like Pokemon doesn't mean you need to be a competitive battler, OP.

On battlespot I play with a team of Escavalier, Mega Gardevoir, Rough n rocky garchomp, lanturn, porygon 2, and whimsicott. Stall can be pretty fun, and takes more skill then hyperoffensive, and I take particular enjoyment when lanturn and porygon2 wipe an entire team by themselves in doubles.

You shouldn't be playing smogon OU. Stall is unbeatable there because smogon bans every powerful offensive mon and leaves all the most powerful stall mons alone. I been stopped playing it even though I got into the 1800s, I knew I could never be at the top unless I used stall.
