Most likely it just means that it will be a Grass/Dark deck. No idea what the others will be, though, especially the Litten deck.

Have to say, Poppolio having Sing, and Forest Shadow's description being "Take aim --" are pretty damning evidence towards the leaks.

Why grass/dark together though?

Especially when shadow is more closely related to ghost type in the franchise.

No Ghost-type in TCG, though, so that is why Grass/Dark. As for "why?", I have no idea, some designer probably thought they'd make a great mix. Maybe Litten's final would actually be weak to Dark, which is why Dark would be there, to cover the weakness? No idea at all, really.

Yeah yeah patterns being broken but considering its one of two starters that start out with a secondary typing - unless I'm forgetting something besides Venusaur - it's a safe bet to say it remains grass/flying. Forest's Shadow probably isnt that signixant.

Fire/Dark is still likely I'd say. We know the basis. It has every reason to be dark. That doesn't make it a good design but I don't think it's fighting.

Personally I'm thinking it's just saying it works in the forests shadows. It is a sniper after all. I agree it probably has no significance. In fact I seem to remember the starter decks featuring starters for XY having water/steel as the typing pair so it might noy mean anything at all even if it is dark type.
