An alright game. Remember you can catch Zekrom, let N beat you, then check its nature without saving easily. I had to do that to get a decent Reshiram in Black.

Have you played bw recently? Because I have. I've played both recently, and dp has a shit pokemon pool, but bw made be want to kill myself. It's so fucking tedious and the handholding is fucking extreme.

What do you consider "slow"?
Because this is a different kind of slow than DP. Here you have two rivals who don't leave you alone for the first half of the game, and want to battle all the time. DP are slow because the walk speed and battle speed are slow, you can clear BW and BW2 before you're done with DP

In regards to what? The plot maybe, but in dp you have a lot more freedom to just run around. In bw, you get stopped by some asshole that wants to explain something every 5 minutes. It's hell.

I consider DPPt slower due to the game speed, not pacing. You probably play on an emulator, because battles in these games are some of the slowest in the franchise, only slightly better than the old GB games
